MangaINC20 celebrates over two decades of the underground, experimental, and unforgettable world of alternative manga, aka altmanga, following the legacy of the first local manga fanzine, MangaINC Vol. I.

MangaINC20 will be released at East European Comic Con: Fall Edition, 11–13 September 2026 in Bucharest. A second launch event will take place in Brașov. Stay tuned for more details!

What Is This?

BAD BD, the comics imprint of FANTOMAS Publishing, is dedicated to promoting alternative comics and manga by Romanian, Japanese, and international artists.

The collection focuses on publishing anthologies and compilations featuring multiple artists, including short comics, series previews, and standalone graphic novels.

Its first release, MangaINC20, created in collaboration with mangaRO, is a limited-edition anthology of only 200 copies, celebrating the 20th anniversary of MangaINC vol. I (see the cover below), the first alternative manga fanzine launched by the mangaRO community over 20 years ago.
